Tank application is the traditional way of applying waste nutrients and may be the only option available in some situations.
Tanker Transport is used with the tank wagon applicator. This allows product to be hauled a greater distance from the barn. Product is transferred from the tanker to the wagon applicator at point of application.
With the use of a coulter and an 8-inch sweep, the Dietrich creates a pocket where the manure is incorporated under the surface. This allows for minimal nutrient loss during application and minimizes odor.
This process also allows for a smoother surface after application and in some instances could be no-till planted after application. Rates of application can vary from 500 to 8,000 gals. per acre with little to no exposed effluent at the surface.
